Creative Writers Workshop in San Pedro
We have just been informed by one of our readers that “The Twelve Quests” are holding a creative writers workshop this November in San Pedro.
On Sunday 22nd November 2009 author Ana Fischel will be holding workshops for children starting at 1pm at The Passion Cafe, C.C. La Colonia, San Pedro. (Tel: 952 78 15 83.) All children will receive free drinks and nibbles. Signed copies of the first six books of The Twelve Quests will be available for sale. This will be of interest to anyone over 8 years of age who would like to learn Ana’s secrets to becoming a published author.
The Twelve Quests is a series of children’s fairy tale books that revive the darkly Gothic atmosphere of the 19th century and reignite the richness of European folklore. This series of modern classics tell the woeful tale of ten year old twins, Albert and Florence Leadington, who are forced to embark on an extraordinary trip to complete twelve devious and deadly quests.

Visited Passion Cafe, San Pedro on Sun 22nd Nov as per your recommendations for the Childrens Workshop/Book Signing with my 3 grandchildren and it was excellent so thank you for the recommendation! The book are amazing, beautifully illustrated and as there are 12 of the books in the series I can see this is going to be an on-going craze that ‘Nana’ be reminded of each month when it’s ‘pocket money’ day! Worth every penny I say!
