Kidz Kingdom has now opened a new soft play centre in El Rosario,  we haven´t visited yet but when we do we will report back on what there is!

SPACE CITY has arrived!!!

The new Kidz Kingdom is located in El Rosario and has lots of fun and games just waiting for your little ones to enjoy.

While the kids are exploring the interactive space ball battle zone, you can relax and enjoy a snack and tea in Moonwalk Cafe.  There is also free WI-FI Internet for all those mums and dads that just need to be connected at all times!

There is a new soft play centre opening in Gibraltar called Aping About, it is situated on Coral Road and sounds like it will be lots of fun.

It has everything you would expect from a soft play centre, a giant play structure so they can climb,  slide and generally run around and use up all that energy!  Whilst the kids are having a good time, you can sit down and have a cup of tea in the cafe, where you can find all sorts of refreshments and foods, from baguettes and salads to ice cream and cool drinks.

If you do need to pop out to do your shopping whilst the kids are there, then there is a service available whereby you can leave your kids with them, as long as you book in advance, letting you get your jobs done whilst they have lots of fun!

” The soft play area itself is large and seems to be on 3 levels with all sorts of activities including a football pitch on one level and a dressing up wardrobe on another!   Adults are not actually allowed into the soft play area at all although there is a spacious bar where you can watch from.

We’ve been to two parties there and both were really well run with the children being entertained once inside the soft play with dressing up, face and nail painting and games.  There is an option to buy professional photos of your children at the end!

“Yaina Park is a spacey soft play situated under the Hercules Hotel nr Paloma Park in Benalmadena.  There is a medium sized soft play area as well as an area dedicated to trampolines and ball pools ( my daughter loves this bit ) a baby soft play and disco / games floor.

There is also a large party eating area and separate café for adults which has a really nice menu.

There is one corridor which has cleverly utilised space by placing a huge blackboard on the wall with chalk and the kids seem to love this. There are toilets for adults and children and baby changing areas.

As well as going to play we have been to two parties at Yaina Park and both were well organised with activities for the children and good food. There is lots of space for children to just ‘run around’ which is great and friendly staff keeping an eye on them. Nice atmosphere and well run.”

There is also a mother and toddlers morning held every Wednesday, also a have a professionally staffed nursery for 1 – 4 year olds which is open every day from 10 am – 9 pm.  The nursery is run by multilingual staff so giving your child a great start in life.

Christmas Schedule

From the 17th to the 23rd there will be a fabulous Santas Grotto between 4pm and 7pm every day.

Father Christmas will be there with his elves and Frosty the Snow Man so take along your present lists and hand them in to him in person!  Every child will be given a special goody bag to take away after having a chat with Father Christmas and sitting on his lap for a photo op or two!

On Monday the 20th they will be having a Winter Wonderland party (tickets on sale now!)  Go dressed in your favorite costumes to see Father Christmas, Frosty and lots of other Charecters all full of festive cheer.  There will be lots of Christmas goodies to eat and Mulled wine for the biggest kids!

On the5th of Jan between 2 and 7pm there will be a visit from the Three Kings, who will bring goodies for the little ones, and there will also be traditional Spanish festive treats on offer as well.

Well after looking at the site, it’s a definite Yes!  It’s a good job you cannot taste through websites, because if they taste as good as they look, my waistline would be in serious trouble.

Louise has been making cakes in spain for the past 3 years, and has learnt alot, especially with what mums wants and needs are when ordering a cake.  Normally enough cake for the children, but definitely the right amount of cupcakes for the adults!!

Some of the different cakes Louise has made so far this year include a Jimmy Choo shoe cake, Boobs in bras, Princess Disney castles, X-box, hello kitty, princess Tiaras, barbies, Formula 1 cars, Star Wars, Spiderman, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Wedding cakes, and lots and lots of cupcakes!!! The cakes are baked to a traditional sponge recipe, with a choice of flavoured fillings, tell them how many people it is for, the date and location of the event and they will even deliver to your door!
