*NEW* The new Aping about day care centre is opening on Monday 16th May 2011. Places are available from 8am – 7pm Monday – Friday for those working and looking for competent carers for their children. All staff are all CRB checked and highly qualified.

With high ratios of staff:children, they aim to take perfect care of your children. Pop in or call for more information.

There is a new soft play centre opening in Gibraltar called Aping About, it is situated on Coral Road and sounds like it will be lots of fun.

It has everything you would expect from a soft play centre, a giant play structure so they can climb, slide and generally run around and use up all that energy! Whilst the kids are having a good time, you can sit down and have a cup of tea in the cafe, where you can find all sorts of refreshments and foods, from baguettes and salads to ice cream and cool drinks.

If you do need to pop out to do your shopping whilst the kids are there, then there is a service available whereby you can leave your kids with them, as long as you book in advance, letting you get your jobs done whilst they have lots of fun!

Mother and Toddler groups

There are quite a few Mother and Toddler groups being run up and down the coast some in conjunction with the big inddor play centres and others just smaller independent ones which are equally as good and often a great way to meet other mums.

We have listed a few that we have heard of but have not tried, please let us know if you have visited these or if there are any local to your area that you would recommend.

Benelmadena - Thursday 11am – 1 pm for 0 – 3 year olds
