RugbyTots, sports fun for little ones
New Sessions restart after Christmas this weekend 16th Jan 2010
New Since first posting about this activity we have been and experienced it for ourselves.
My son is almost 3 and isn’t the most sporty of kids but we decided to take him along to rugbytots to give it a go. I cannot express how amazed I was at his performance! He listened to everything that was being said and was quite often volunteering himself to go first at eveything, and his running well, i have never seen anything like it.
I really can recommend it to anyone to try, Guy is very good at explaining and showing things to the kids and makes it fun as well. Very impressed!
The course involves parent participation so is good fun for both children and adults and we found a nice thing for my husband and son to do together as a boys thing.
The course starts again in September at Cancelada sports hall and also just east of Marbella. The sessions are €8 per session if you pay for the whole course in advance or €10 if you want to pay as you go, and of course there is the free trial which i think is a very good idea.

Original Post:
There seems to be a lack or sporting activities for the younger age group on the coast, which is why Rugbytots is such a good idea.
Apparently Rugbytots is the first of its kind; a specifically designed play programme using the multiple skills of Rugby to create a fun and enjoyable environment whilst developing basic core motor skills.
There will be groups along the coast, in Marbella they are using the facilities of the tennis club in Puente Romano.
It is recommended for boys and girls and from the early age of 2 years. They also offer trial classes to get to know them better which I think is great…I hope I can soon take my son for one of those and I will be happy to share my experience with you all.
Until then you can find more information on their website: www.rugbytots.es

Hi
My name is Guy Leleu and I run Rugbytots. We are now putting on classes in Cancelada and Sotogrande and are about to open in Elviria. Anyone is welcome to come along and try a session for free. The reaction from both the children and parents has been really positive. Come and try us out.
