Selwo Marina, Benalmadena

Selwo Marina is a great day out, well half a day I think would be more accurate. It has a Dolphin areana, where you can see Dolphins and Sea Lions perform entertaining and fun shows, be warned the closer to the front you sit the better chance of getting soaked!!

They also host a tropical bird show where the birds get to show off all their tricks, I must admitt for someone who has a distinct dislike of birds flying around them, I found the show to be very fun.

Selwo Marina also boasts the only Penguin Ice Enclosure in the Community of Andalusia, recreating the natural habitat of several penguin species. You can get up close and personal with them and watch them being fed.

They also have a 3D cinema and the Amazon jungle that you can visit. My son managed to find the section that you can touch and feel different sea animals, much to his great amusement.

There is a cafeteria on site and Kiosks selling drinks and Ice creams.

The older kids will find the playground amazing and I imagine some adults will too!!

Selwo Marina does get busy in the summer and has no cover, I recommend going spring or autumn to make the most of it.

Children (3-7) and Seniors €13

Entrance Packs for the other parks are availabe as well, for this and the timetable I would consult the website as they open at different times during the year.
